Emily over at Once Wed was kind enough to invite me to be a part of her Table Trends project. I loved every second of the process and had a great time making all the elements for my table, and putting it all together. Here are a few shots of the end results. You can visit Once Wed to see more images of my table and other Table Trend creations as well.
I love the airy and ethereal quality of tulle. This week for my DIY post on Once Wed I crafted these little tulle and rhinestone poofs. They can be hung individually or strung into garlands. Visit Once Wed for the complete instructions.
I made the scalloped "valance" using flocked paper from The Paper Zone. The chenille dot trim on top was a find from a trip to Spain, many years ago. The lanterns are made from vintage wallpaper and scrapbooking papers.
I used the same flocked paper to trim the front door. I cut the paper to size, then cut a small circle where the peep hole is. I glued a small crocheted circle around the hole, to finish it off.
