Buckets of Blooms... and a Book!

Paper Flowers

Paper Flowers

I've spent the past few months tucked away in my studio working on a HUGE project - a paper flowers book/kit for Barnes and Noble. Pictured above are some of the prototype flowers.

It's been an exciting and challenging project. There were many long days and late nights, and now the manuscript is done and revised. Whew. It's such a relief to have that behind me now!

Look for it on the shelves in Feb 2011. I'll keep you posted on the exact date.

Now it's time to play catch up... orders to fill... Etsy updates.... the list goes on.

I enjoyed your article on Hanging Hankerchief vases in Somerset Life. I would expect your blog to be as nice, great pictures for your future book.

Oh I'm looking forward to it! It's high time there's been a new flower book since all those Dennison books went out of print (and it appears that not a lot has changed from the first printed in the 20s to the books in the 60s!).

I can't wait for you craft book to go on sale in stores! I've been following The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee for over a year now and I love the work you have done with and for the benefit of those adorable kittens. As a paper crafter myself, I very much admire your beautiful art creations!
